Want feedback on your dressage? Interested in improving your flat work via dressage in another discipline while riding a happy horse? Or would you like to learn about positive reinforcement (PR) training to help with things like improved transitions, engagement, leads and lead changes, relaxation or shoulder in etc.? Maybe you'd like to shape your horses behavior and make your daily life easier by using PR training to improve bridling, standing while tacking, loading, worming, picking up feet etc. Perhaps you are really interested in connecting with your horse and building trust? If any of these questions resonate with you, join us at this clinic with Melissa Spell Deal, (USDF bronze medalist, ARIA certified instructor and Qualified Connection Training Coach) of Victory Land Dressage and explore taking your riding and your relationship with your horse to a new level!
Melissa will be available for dressage lessons, western dressage lessons, and clicker training! We have lesson spots available but we anticipate they will go fast! Let me know if you’d like to participate with your horse, a school horse, or if you’d like to haul your horse(s) in for lessons! We have stalls available if anyone needs them during the day or to stay overnight if needed! Contact Madison Neeley Smith to sign up at 864-992-8158 or message Peachtree Equestrian Center’s Facebook page to register.

Interested in building trust, confidence, and precise communication with your horse? Want to dazzle in Dressage, build boldness jumping, gymnasticize for rehab, train for trails, prepare for showing or other challenges? Or, just want to have fun?
Introduce your horse to novel objects and concepts when navigating obstacles, exposing them to sounds and unusual terrain. Relaxation and motivation techniques will be addressed as appropriate. Obstacles are a great way to give you and your horse measurable objectives to provide clarity in communication on the ground and under saddle. Clarity in use and understanding of the aids is a huge factor in any discipline.
We will explore using positive reinforcement in this process for those who are interested though it is not required. Traditional aids may be used. All disciplines are welcome to join in the fun and may go in hand on the ground, under saddle or both according to the comfort level of the horse and rider.
Boldness and a curiosity will be fostered and relationships will deepen during this clinic. The benefits of the clinic never cease to amaze the participants as unexpected results manifest in the hearts of horses and their humans. Join us and take another stride on the journey to understanding and enjoying your horse like never before!
